Former Clare full-back Brian Lohan has been linked with getting within the senior hurlers of the county.
After joint-manager Gerry OConnors death, it has remained unclear if the county board will decide to stay together with Donal Moloney, or whether theyll look elsewhere.
Based on Thursdays Clare Champion, winner Lohan has expressed an interest in the function.
Lohan has enjoyed success in recent years, winning the Fitzgibbon Cup at 2015.
When requested in May when the Clare job would be of interest to himhe stated he wouldnt think about it using the current government set up:I havent actually thought about it, not with the current county board.
