Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr plans to play on Sunday despite an ongoing hip injury that prevents him by”opening up and sprinting”.
Beckham was not listed on Wednesday’s injury report for its season opener against the Tennessee Titans.
On the status , he updated reporters on Thursday. He did not play at the pre-season.
“It’s like a very quick car with like a tiny alignment or some thing off,” he explained. “And it is right in the centre of what you want. Now, the vehicle can still proceed, but it is dangerous, you know what I mean?
“So, it is just something I’ve been attempting to figure out, in and out of rehab every single moment. Never dealt with anything like this.”
26, beckham, missed 16 of 32 games. He played 16 games just after (2016) in five decades there.
The three-time Pro Bowl selection said the injury is getting better.
“It’s something that hopefully keeps progressing and gets better and not worse,” he explained.
“But it’s just something you have to manage. We’ve got a game so it is time to go. … I’ll be running as fast as I can run. If that’s not a hundred, then I feel confident in myself that wherever I’m at, I will be ready to play with wherever I’m at.”
