The two best teams from the NFC East face-off in Texas (8:30 P.M ET, NBC) when the Dallas Cowboys host the Philadelphia Eagles.
After starting off the season with three wins the Cowboys have lost three in a row. The Eagles locate themselves in 3-3 after a disappointing performance against the Minnesota Vikings.
This is a big game for both teams not only since the winner will choose the division lead but also because the loser will fall under .500 on this season. Dallas has a tiny bit more pressure coming to this one because they are playing at home and yet another loss could make it straight. You may have to imagine there, if Jason Garrett is on the hot seat.
Both of Dallas starting tackles are handling injury difficulties. This has been evident in their performance against the New York Jets. Expect that the Eagles pass rush to maintain Dak Prescotts face through the night, if they cannot go. Without Amari Cooper for the Majority of the game, the Cowboys were in the reduction of the Jets. All reports appear to be indicating that hell be outside from the Eagles. That is a huge blow to Dallas opportunities.
The Eagles are coping with injury issues of their own. DeSean Jackson is still out with an abdomen injury. The Eagles offense has never looked without him as explosive. One positive indication recently has been the play of Fletcher Cox. He dealt to begin the season but has played it. He seems like he may be getting back to his old self in recent weeks.
The total opened 48.5 with a few 49s revealing as well. It appears like a case ofwait and watch though the Over was getting a little more of their action that is early. The inconsistency with Dallas is week . Their offense is able to seem inept and unstoppable in precisely the exact identical game.
Thats what makes taking the total with them hard during this streak. I anticipate this is a match with a lot of rushing attempts on each side. The Cowboys have appeared vulnerable through the center of the front seven. There is also the simple fact the Eagles will start rookie left tackle Andre Dillard. You do not want them to get the opportunity to get moving against a rookie, Though the Cowboys pass rush has struggled recently. As for the Cowboys, last season Ezekiel Elliott conducted for 119 and 151 yards in two games against the Eagles.
With the Cowboys missing their best wide receiver and maybe a set of starting tackles, I visit a run-heavy close struggle between two groups that dont like each other.
For that reason, I lean towards the Beneath 49 (-105) at Heritage.
