Haringey Borough along with also Yeovil Town’s FA Cup fourth qualifying round game is abandoned, following reports of racial abuse aimed at Haringey’s goalkeeper.
Yeovil were leading 1-0 through a Rhys Murphy penalty when the game was halted at the 64th minute.
A delay was using Haringey keeper Douglas Pajetat allegedly struck by an object from the stands.
Since the hosts abandoned the area after Murphy scored, play has been suspended.
It had been verified that the game had been abandoned, using BT Sport coverage that Pajetat was racially abused and spat at by fans, About 35 minutes after.
Haringey said on Twitter:”Sorry for the late update but wanted to ensure we gave correct info. Game has been abandoned following racial abuse. Horrendous afternoon.
“It must be stated that 99.9% of [Yeovil] lovers will also be disgusted by what’s occurred as far as we are. 1 club, 1 community.”
