Manchester City defender John Stones was ruled out for up to five weeks using a injury, states Pep Guardiola.
The difficulty was suffered by the England centre-back in training before City’s Champions League opener against Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday.
Stones returned to Manchester City on Saturday after recovering in an previous muscular difficulty because the opening day win at West Ham.
Guardiola said on Tuesday:”He [Stones] is out five, four or six months. That morning he had been injured in training. It’s a muscular problem.”
