Williams was not bothered by the ankle as she moved past Qiang to move to a 24th Grand Slam singles 30, she rolled in her match.
Williams won the first five matches in around 15 minutes. Next, after falling one game, the 37-year-old collected the following 11 points in a row along with each remaining game.
Williams will face Number 5 seed Elina Svitolina for a berth in the past, and finished to zero for Wang, who played in her first major quarter-final.
“From when I first started here… I never believed that I would return to 100,” Williams said of her victory milestone.
“did not even cross my mind I would still be out here. But I love everything I do.”
The American explained the ankle she gathered during her fourth-round match was not a problem:”Physically, I am feeling fantastic, and more than anything I am having fun each time I come out .”
